Bronx Letters is family. Bronx Letters is a home.
— 8th grade student

OUR MISSION: Bronx Letters Foundation supports the Urban Assembly Bronx Academy of Letters, a public, non-screening, 600-student middle and high school in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx that offers a rigorous, college-preparatory academic program with an intense focus on developing literacy and driving social change across disciplines. We work to ensure that our students and teachers have the tools they need to succeed. Our students have the power and potential to change the world.

The students of Bronx Letters possess abundant talents, passionate writing and communication skills, tenacity, community-mindedness, academic integrity and intellectual curiosity but lack sufficient opportunities to participate, advance and achieve. That’s where we come in.
